Yoga Alignment Technique & Meditation Practice Building Blocks Intensive
Sundays: 4p - 6p (Presentation on Techniques + mini practice)
Tuesdays: 6:30p - 8:30p (Mini Mat Practices & Techniques)
Wednesdays: 6:30p - 8p (60 min Mat Practice & 20 min Meditation)
Thursdays: 6:30p - 8:30p (In Depth, Long Mat Practice)
39.5 total intensive hours
These five weeks will be with Yoga Teacher Trainees, studying some of the deeper foundations of postural yoga & meditation. We will focus on the impact on the body, state of mind, and the spiritual. There will be two mat practices each week (one 90 minute, one 60 minute and sometimes a third “pick me up” practice), one 20 minute meditation practice each week, and one live review/coaching session each week to clarify the online material and practices. We will have a particular focus on technique each week.
If you miss any meetings, you can still get the material as all recordings will be accessible in a password protected archive.
Cost for Course: $390
Early Bird: (ends Jan 11) $349
This is very much a "companion course" of the “Postural Yoga Basics” courses from last year. If you have taken that course, this one will augment the content of that course. If you did not take that course, you will still be able to take and follow this one It is not a prerequisite, but if you’d like to take the previous course, you can still take the online version (30 total hours) for $99 (half price for those who sign up for this February Intensive).

New Years Yin Reset

There’s a lot to let go of from the past 2 years. This two hour, Yin Yoga workshop will focus on helping you let go of tensions & stress, psychological & physical so that you can clear your slate for the New Year.

Pranayama Workshop

A mix of Yoga & Breathwork, in this workshop we will explore the most potent levers for getting access to your nervous system. Learn to change the state of your nervous system like flipping a switch as we explore some of the most accessible and powerful yoga techniques available!

Rest, Restore, Rejuvenate
w/ Alex Pfeiffer
Often, this late in Winter, we are tending to hold a lot of tension. The tension is deep and takes some time to get to. We will take two hours of Restorative Yoga (have props or household items - towels will do! - on hand) time to stimulate the Nervous System into a space of complete rest to get at this deeply held tension and give you just he rejuvenation you need this time of year!

Feel Good Balance From Head to Toe(s)
w/ Micole Gauvin
This is not your ordinary balance class. In this workshop, we will work into grounding our groundedness and getting into balance poses from a new angle (actually, lots of new angles!). Many think the way to get better at balance poses (like tree pose) is just to do more balance poses. But we’ll take a different approach. We will work from the ground up and you will open and lengthen and strengthen the muscles in your body that will help you stand stronger and taller and more secure : on one foot ~ on two feet.
So, get ready to find your balance! What you can expect: We’ll spend some time doing foot yoga (giving some extra care and attention to the parts of our bodies that work the hardest to hold us up and take us where we need to go!). Then we’ll slowly, slowly work our way up with lots of feel good stretches, and a few warming/strengthening exercises. We’ll test the limits and find more groundedness in our balance. We will wobble. And it’s ok! (about 60-90 minutes)
Finally, we’ll round out our class with a guided visualization and relaxation ~ to help us unwind, let go, and integrate. (about 20-30 minutes)
Join me! Let’s get together and lean into the uncomfortable (and embrace the wobble!) so we can find our balance and feel good - from head-to-toe(s)!
